Some Considerations on the Scope of REACH: Importance of the correct legal Classification of Substances
The REACH Regulation lays down a differentiated legal regime according to the legal classification of each substance. Thus, it is not applicable to specific products or substances such as waste, and it lays down a slacker system for other related categories such as by-products, second raw materials or intermediates.
